Winter Burrow was a very sweet survival sim - there’s a gentle story about community wrapped up in an easy, pretty straight forward crafting loop. At six hours it didn’t outstay its welcome and that mouse is so darn adorable. Loved that knitting was a central part of the crafting!

love having the morning off work - racing through this proof about an unusual court case in the UK that covers queer and online identities, truth and deception as well as some fascinating legal history. very happy to have a new scarf knit on the go as well 🧶❤️

let’s goooo I love a fake found archive !!!
We don't know. What we do know is the wiring diagram works. We built it, virtually, in @godotengine.org. We fed it scans of the books we found.

And the books are very, very strange. The "game" that resulted is also strange.

We're hoping people can make sense of it for us.

I'm rewatching Bones and the most unbelieveable bit of Season One is when her 'Publisher' sends her a car in the hope that she'll write another book 😭

What's effectively happening here (in the British media at large, too) is the construction of "anti-racism" as somehow a "political alternative" to racism, rather than as a minimal civilisational standard, which in turn (further) vindicates racism as *also* an acceptable political position.
I'm a bit concerned about the use of the word "clash" here, @theguardian.com. Not only does this imply 'two-sideism' (my favourite bit is designation of anti-racist protesters as "hardcore" - turns out the only thing they were 'hardcore' about is techno) but also a physical conflict. Was there one?

I’ve written about making art when it feels like the world is ending, about living truthfully in a homophobic world, about the Two Roberts in the 1940s. And a lot of it feels very…now.
"The world is burning. Fascism is rising. Countries are falling. And we’re on the brink of incredible technological change, which will either be the end of everything or a new beginning. So, who needs artists?"

I've written about what it takes to make art & live bravely.

‘They had everything, then nothing’: the prodigies the art world forgot
Robert Colquhoun and Bobby MacBryde were once the golden boys of London’s art scene – photographed in Vogue, filmed by Ken Russell and lauded by Francis Bacon. So why did they vanish into obscurity?

my mum is going to Leicester Pride this year for the first time and with her new church - hoping she snags a zine for me!
To coincide with Leicester Pride this year we're debuting a new project: 'Communion: A Queer Christian Zine', created with an ethos of grassroots organising and radical sharing, with the finished product being freely available for anyone to print and distribute among their own communities.
