I don't know how Claudia is serving a Thanksgiving dinner for $5.50 a seat. Maybe she's cutting back on proteins like so many Americans suffering under this administration. (My guess is she's just making her personal chef skip the butter.)

Aftyn is so, so close to flipping a district that Trump won by 20+ points. That's about the same margin he had here in NY-24. She can do this. WE CAN DO THIS

Congress actually did its job. Now it’s time for the president and his administration to do theirs. That means every document, with all the proper measures to protect the victims, should be released.

The era of elite rule in this country is over.

ICE kidnapped and is now jailing a Venezuelan-born woman who is in the country LEGALLY and has NO criminal history.
This is unconstitutional and a disgrace to our country. She should be released IMMEDIATELY and these illegal detainments most stop NOW.

We polled Indivisible members over the weekend on whether Dems should take a deal or keep fighting for the ACA subsidies. Results: 98.67% said keep fighting.

Dems who vote to surrender now are fracturing their own party in a way that will reverberate loudly in the primaries.
So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

Hey @kenmartin.bsky.social people will remember this Senate cave-in when the Dems come looking for money!
Democrats just swept the off-year elections -- and not just in blue states -- a resounding rejection of Republicans' authoritarian bullshit. It is an insult to Democratic voters, marketplace enrollees, and everyone who turned out on Tuesday for Schumer and Jeffries to cave.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

I'm looking to see not only which Senate Dem candidates oppose this surrender (all of them will) but also where they go beyond this with respect to senate leadership.

I want to see concrete promises for a new fighting Dem Party, because the current one is broken.
This moment demands fighters, not folders.

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Democrats AND Republicans in the Senate are working to get SNAP funded. The Courts are working to get SNAP funded. Only this President and his flunkies (like Claudia) want to leave people hungry while he and his friends make trillions!
This is what oligarchy looks like:

If you're Elon Musk, the richest man alive, Tesla gives you a $1 trillion pay package & Trump gives you a huge tax break.

If you're a poor kid on SNAP, Trump appeals a court decision that would have prevented you from going hungry.

Obscene.

The people here know it and they're sick of it.
I'm so, so proud of our grassroots support because that's who this campaign is for and about.
