Plea to @bbc.co.uk and @lbc.co.uk Venezuela’s neighbour is ColOmbia, not 'ColUmbia'. There is of course the District of Columbia (DC) in the USA and British Columbia in Canada but Colombia is not spelled or pronounced the same as the North American version. Only a few get it right.
