I totally get that. The knee jerk reaction thing was very odd tho, as my post was about the last two days of British politics.
My notifications filled up with unrelated, irrelevant madness. So I muted the thread. Then I got people calling me a coward cos I muted it.

You don’t have to block them. BlueSky has a function where you can simply detach the quote from their post. Which I’ve done.

When they are quoting me along with a personal attack, because they’ve misunderstood my post, then they go as far as even gaslighting me, that has to be countered. If there is an apology, then I accept it. If not, there will be blocking.

If the last 24 hours are anything to go by, it appears that BlueSky has as many arseholes jumping to conclusions, missing context, and lacking comprehension as Twitter does.
