If there's one lesson from recent history it's that nothing bad ever happens after you're unreasonably rude to an FT journalist.
Nigel Farage lashes out at a FT journalist and refuses to answer the question.

Is this how Reform UK would ignore media questions if they got into government?

Giving Braverman the education brief is quite a choice for Reform. I was on an education commission with her once before she went completely mad and she knew absolutely nothing at all.

Is it more potholes? I mean I'm not an expert but that would be my guess. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
What is behind the spike in pothole related call-outs?
The AA says pothole-related call outs in January were up by 18% across the UK, with 6,235 in the East of England alone.

Watched the Blair docs. Here's the quote – from Cherie – that has stayed with me:

“He is an amazing politician. As a husband and as a human being, that’s a different matter. But that’s really between me and him.”

What does she *mean*?

ahhhh my mate helped organise some of the Chinese gigs in that piece, totally fascinating, they explained that if you're the sort of band that's only going to be loved by 0.001% of the public but you apply that to a country of 1bn people then suddenly you've gone from the Brudenell to concert halls.

Gonna request Church House provide this decor for #Synod next time
I’m in Westminster where Nigel Farage is about to unveil his ‘shadow cabinet’ and the decor is slightly bonkers. Looks like he’s going to launch a Simon Cowell-era boyband instead.

#RecipeOfTheDay is, as it must be on Pancake Day, obviously enough, pancakes and, specifically, crêpes. These are the pancakes of my childhood and, furthermore, I have to eat them with just sugar and lemon juice. But that’s me: you go as wild as you want! www.nigella.com/recipes/crepes
Crepes
Although thick, fluffy American pancakes seem to predominate in my house, I couldn't let Pancake Day pass without making a batch of these: it would seem a sin against tradition, nature and greed. They...

Church historians now believe that St Pancake was not actually martyred by being flattened by a series of increasingly heavy weights, but rather was burnt alive in a giant pan. The former death is now attributed to Pseudo-Pancake the Areopagite, as attested in the Codex Libum of Nicomedia.
