Bluesky is literally the bizarro version of Twitter. It's such a weird experience to have random strangers online just be nice and supportive for no reason lol
Not sure when I first heard "The people of <oil rich country> are dancing in the street thanking the US for getting rid of its leader," but I've heard it enough in my 43 years that I am immediately skeptical of it but apparently many Americans will fall for it every time without a thought.

As someone who, since Trump 2.0, has intentionally avoided the national news headlines for my own sanity, can someone give me the basic TLDR of the Minneapolis daycare scandal I keep seeing so much about? I assume it's racist in nature but that's about all I know.

2025 was a bad year that I'll never forget because I lost my dad in February and nothing has been the same since. 😥💔
But it made me take my health more seriously and since May I lost 45lbs, significantly cut back on drinking, and started running a lot and am training for a half marathon now. 🏃♂️💨
