Hydrangea continue to mystify me. I propagated some LA Dreamin hydrangea this spring (read: I snatched a few sticks from a bush in the area) and wasn't expecting blooms until maybe next year. This one surprised me with some lovely pink blossoms

Side note: Portland isn't Chicago or LA. Portland is a very VERY white metro area. The city itself is ~70% white, but the suburbs are closer to 90% and the rural areas are 98%. I don't think attacking white people is going to play as well to their base

I have officially finished listening to The Life of a Showgirl. overall impression: not her best work, but not the worst music I've ever heard. there were a few tracks I could sing along to. I never want to hear Wood again, or anyone else dedicating a song to their boyfriend's dick.
