Wow! Yay! The Senate just rejected Trump’s proposed science cuts, voting 82–15 to boost funding for NOAA, NASA, and the NSF. The bill already passed the House 397–28. Strong bipartisan support for science still exists.

Work was slow for thinking work & I was working from home so I put holiday baking championship on in the background. I saw season 1 then started season 10. Wow what a diff. Half the prize money, 20x the cheese.

I started watching the summer I turned pretty because I know my niece read the book. I don’t know if it is my SF bias but it feels like the moms are going to get together

My cat gets so stressed out during storms. It’s a good thing he lives in CA and not New England where I grew up. He’s been jumping all night like online wimpy cats who see cucumbers.

I was lucky that the power in my Noe Valley Castro area stayed on tonight. It’s also good that if this had to happen, that it happened now when the weather had warmed up again, and not Monday or so when it was 40s and feels like 30s temps!
