Emma, in her thirties. A wife gal. Wears dead people's clothes, reads books, and, most importantly, knits while watching TV. The regiment of mallows.

Oh I didn't know she was doing Patreon now! That's great!
Spooky knits week for #ShowMeYourKnits ! The pattern is Arachne by Andi Satterlund. It is not available anymore so I'm very glad I bought it when I had the chance. Very spooky-month-y but I love spiders and wear it all year round!

we are sweat-pilled (which is a horrible thing to say but there you go) and now that we have watched the 2 (at least) gay episodes, and an episode where a cyclist fucking falls over and dies, we are going to watch the whole thing. Incredible.
@mattbaume.bsky.social just so you know my wife and I started watching the TV show in which Heath Ledger played gay and there's 2 whole episodes at least devoted to him being gay and his mate chucking a wobbly about it www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lKw...

Working on a modern translation of The Iliad. What do you guys think of “And yeah. Achilles went fuckin ripshit. Just fuckin…balls out horny for doing that gremlin shit, you know?”
Literally my worst nightmare
Finally did my duty as a vintage-loving knitter and watched Home Fires! One of the most unfairly cancelled shows of all time.

🧶 bayeux tapestry jumper is finished, blocked and sewn up! Please don’t ask me about weaving in ends I don’t want to talk about that right now. Probably my favourite thing I’ve ever knitted ever #showmeyourknits #knitsky #knitting

3) Every Jane Austen novel is of a different genre. Emma is, of course, a bildungsroman, but also a mystery novel. Emma, sadly, happens to be the worst detective of all time, and makes the mistake one should never make: tries to bend the evidence to support her theory.
2) I did not remember that Colonel Campbell was totally Jane Fairfax's father's boyfriend.
1) The way Mr Martin behaves after the woman she wants to marry refuses him vs The way Mr Elton behaves in the same situation. Mr Martin, undoubtedly the best guy in all of Jane Austen's books.
I'm rereading Emma, and I have THOUGHTS. I love Austen!!!!!
[Spoiler] I kinda need a fic where Victor and Guillaume just get different jobs, something where they can spend time together.
Louisa borrowed the book from the library, but I'm thinking I'll have to buy a physical copy asap so that I can read it again and swoon. SO GOOD. Also, I love trains.
The Paris Express by Emma Donoghue has like, killed me, in the best possible way. I love this author so much. If she came to Finland to sign books, I'd be the first in line.
We got married three years ago! ❤️
