sure, but at the same time it makes it look like nobody really brought up those similarities or argued that in this very-much-apolitical and completely-not-influenced contest it would be, at the very least, kinda tacky to echo that look...? don't they have really any safer choice?
Let's be rationale. Sure, there are some *minor* similarities (so minor I didn't even notice until I saw comments like this), but I doubt Wieder thought "you know what, I'm going to make the stage look like Yuval's staircase just so I can do my bit to add to the collective rage of the fandom!"
Is it just me or does it look inspired by a certain 2025 propaganda staging.

You could say the heart and the core of the contest disappears with the absence of these 5. And the EBU should always remember that we’d prefer these 5 countries with a clear modern record of putting music over politics in over nations that misuse the contest for propagandistic motives. #eurovision
These are the boycotting countries in #eurovision:
🇸🇮 Took part even when they financially couldn’t in 2013, debut in 1961;
🇮🇪 7-time winner, only country to win 3 in a row;
🇳🇱 Host in 2020+2021;
