You are seeing the surface of the Sun through the "eyes" of the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST), which produced the highest resolution observations ever made.
This movie, dating back to 2019, covers an area 19,000 x 10,700 km.

It was "Calculated Colouring" for me, with some Substitution and a Christmas theme this afternoon. After playing one session of Pirate Game in the morning, my throat needed the rest... #MathsToday
