i’ve discovered that a race launch lineup at daytona has actually happened before once, during the 2023 coke 400! this was not on the broadcast at all and didn’t make any headlines, but it was totally visible!

i’ve discovered that a race launch lineup at daytona has actually happened before once, during the 2023 coke 400! this was not on the broadcast at all and didn’t make any headlines, but it was totally visible!

one of the things that makes this future event worth keeping tabs on is that if a launch occurs during a race, all of the stands are facing the correct way and all pads are under 62mi/100km, with the closest being 46mi/75km

we missed the space coast launch during the Rolex 24 lineup window AGAIN!!!! im so sad!!!! i thought we were gonna hit it this year but SL 17-20 is coming out of vandenberg, not the space coast
