I've plotted my top recommended bike routes starting at the south end of the Lakefront Trail in Chicago to make it easier to share some of my favorite routes! They all basically work in reverse, but I've also tried to include train connections at the ends. All have detailed notes. #bikechi

A question for #bikesky: who makes good padded liner shorts intended to be worn under baggy shorts/pants? I need but do not currently have this technology for shorter rides or rides where I (gasp) don't want to show up in full MAMIL.

E-Yikes.
The importer, Rad Power Bikes Inc., of Seattle, Washington has refused to agree to an acceptable recall. Given its financial situation, Rad Power Bikes has indicated to CPSC that it is unable to offer replacement batteries or refunds to all consumers.

Moments ago: tenants of the South Shore apartment building that federal immigration agents raided at the end of September held a presser to announce they're forming a tenants union.

They're demanding, among other things, sewage removal and heat and electricity restroration.

More updates TK.

I have been using substandard bread for my lunch sandwiches the last few workdays, and it has never taken me so long to choke down a meal. I wish good bread was more widely & consistently available in Chicago.

Sorry if I contributed to a needless panic. On the other hand, nothing Google or any other tech company has done recently has given me any reason to trust them or believe they are operating in good faith 🤷‍♂️

Check your Gmail & Google Workspace settings - I was opted in to all of this by default. No clankers!
Google has started automatically opting you in to let it read your stuff to train AI. You need to turn this off in SEVERAL places in your settings (not just for Gmail), if you want to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

Gmail can read your emails and attachments to train its AI, unless you opt out
A new Gmail update may allow Google to use your private messages and attachments for AI training. Here's how to turn it off.

I love it when our elected representatives waste shit tons of money undoing changes that improve safety for all road users in order to make it easier for drivers to turn fast and park.
