I've plotted my top recommended bike routes starting at the south end of the Lakefront Trail in Chicago to make it easier to share some of my favorite routes! They all basically work in reverse, but I've also tried to include train connections at the ends. All have detailed notes. #bikechi

Remembering musician John Prine on what would’ve been his 76th birthday. Here’s his childhood home at 1110 S. 1st Ave in Maywood. At the age of 22 he worked as a mailman while taking classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music. He lived at 902 N. 19th Ave in Melrose Park.

To transform pointless but perhaps somewhat creative jobs into miserable assembly-line jobs where all you do is instruct the machine to literally build a world no one will ever inhabit or care about.

New from 404 Media: an internal Meta message we obtained tells employees on its metaverse team that they should be using AI to “go 5x faster”. That's 5 times faster, not 5 percent more.
