A painted miniature of a Age of Sigmar Sylvaneth arch-revenant. It’s a thin, muscular figure with red skin and grey hair. Both of its legs and its right arm have been replaced with an exoskeleton made of a living tree. He holds a halberd with a pitch black blade in his left hand and a bronze buckler in the right. His right foot is standing atop the skull of a large creature, a tree growing out of its eye sockets. On his back, an insectoid creature is hanging with great wings exposed, giving the figure an impressive wingspan of pinkish wings. The archrevenant is wearing a half skirt of leaves. On his head is a helmet with some kind of animal horns cork-screwing upwards about three times the height of the helm itself over his head.

I’ve taken a voluntary hobby hiatus recently to make space for Death Stranding 2, which I’ve since dutifully cleared and platinumed. Now returning to your regularly scheduled hobby activity.
I hope to finish up a Bo Karan miniature this weekend (Shatterpoint), followed by a LEGO & gunpla interlude.

Just read The Electric State and - not having seen it - I’m wondering what the hell was up with the Netflix adaptation. There’s no Chris Pratt character. The book is all sad tension, not an action romp.

My first piece on canvas is done! Pretty pleased with it, and there will definitely be more to come. 🤘
An acrylic canvas painting depicting Dracula's castle from Castlevania lit by a bright red moon, and sitting amongst high mountains, and a deep pine Forest, that all transitions into a drop of blood spattering at the bottom of the canvas. I am holding up my finished painting, while wearing a bright blue shirt, black rimmed glasses, and my black leather cowboy hats topped with steampunk goggles.

In the market for a good near-black metallic acrylic paint.

AP Warpaint Fanatics Gunmetal is a dark grey. I like it but I want something darker.

Turbo Dork's Six Shooter gives good results air brushed from primer but I not when trying to hand brush in small amounts.

An amnizu, a greater devil in #DnD. This one is Thavius Kreeg in my #DescentIntoAvernus campaign; I brought him back in the finale as a leader of a war and rather than the cowering wimp he was written as. #MiniaturePainting
