I figure that sometime in the week I will go in to get new lenses, better in my larger "current" frames. But with this assault on The Panama News, money is a bit tighter than it was the last time. I'd expect that the cost of new lenses will also have gone up.

I did my errands using my old glasses, which worked well. As you get old your eyeballs change and the effects of near-sightedness diminish. My "current" glasses were a bit scratched, so I had been thinking about replacement. But not on a Saturday.

Got the dogs and cats fed, late. The whole day started late as I stayed up late on Friday to get my heart broken by the Tigers' 15th inning elimination.

Another delay in getting out the door on my day's errands was that I had misplaced my glasses. Ultimately I found them.

Not my best flower pic. Some ways back and through the rain. A flower has bloomed on my nance tree. There will be more. I dislike the taste of fresh nance berries, but birds love it and this tree is an amazing birdfeeder.

Wish him well. I disagreed with him about certain things and probably still do. He was a good president and a decent man. All radiation therapy is not the same, but I expect that this would be hard on him.
