Animal lover, luv & care for city park cats, keep up with political news, cultures, nature, and artistic folks. Enjoy yard/flowers/feeding the birds/ squirrels. NO MAGA!!
Thankful for the courage, persistence, and solidarity in this movement. Moments like these remind us that change comes from people who refuse to back down, even when it’s hard. Keep rising together.
Happy Thanksgiving! We’re thankful for all of you, for the voices that rise up, the hearts that refuse to back down, and the courage that keeps the resistance moving forward. Tomorrow, there will be more of us. 💚✊

It’s exhausting how quickly certain communities are criminalized based on identity alone. The instinct to hold our breath is real — history and bias have taught us that guilt is often presumed before facts are known.
Why POC collectively hold our breath when there’s a mass shooting or high profile crime before the suspect is even identified:

• Afghan man shoots a National Guard member:
With zero knowledge of the background or motive, the right screams that Muslims are terrorists and must be deported.

How can a case involving up to 2,500 victims not dominate the news? This isn’t just individual misconduct — it exposes deep failures in military oversight and protection of service members.
There’s an investigation into an Army doctor who was sexually assaulting, filming and even inducing labour without consent.

He may have abused up to 2,500 women.

Why isn’t this bigger news?

It’s the largest sexual abuse case in the military’s history.

Exactly — it’s endless variations on the same theme. At this point, you half-expect a new show called ‘NCIS: Toothbrush Inspectors’ or ‘Ambulance Firemen: DMV Edition.
I only watch CBS for sports and I'm always amazed at these copaganda franchises that have somehow spawned six different shows with twelve seasons each. And all of them called "NCIS: Duluth" or "Ambulance Firemen Marshals" or some shit.

Leadership requires empathy and responsibility. When someone in the highest office consistently demonstrates the opposite, it’s not just tone-deaf — it’s dangerous. Thanksgiving wishes are the least of our concerns compared to threats against legislators.
The President of the United States of America - who is a stunning black hole of sociopathy and malignant narcissism - is emotionally incapable of wishing ALL the people of the United States a Happy Thanksgiving.

Incapable.

Oh and he threatened the lives of Dem legislators this week.

“It’s heartbreaking and infuriating. This wasn’t a mere political move — it had real, fatal consequences. We owe it to her and her family to call out the irresponsibility that led to her death.
There was no "Emergency" situation with crime in DC. This stunt got a 20 year old young woman killed.

It. Got. A. Woman. Killed.

Watching this unfold is frustrating. Name-calling and bullying shouldn’t be tolerated, especially from someone in power. The real failure is the lack of pushback from those who could call it out.
Trump rants at reporter calling her stupid 5 times and no one stands up to him. That sucks. Business as usual. Dictator.

Gratitude is the heart of this season. Thankful for family, friends, and the moments — both challenging and joyful — that show us who we truly are. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for so much - above all, for loved ones who are with us in our best and worst moments, and who remind us who we really are.

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

When the accused hide behind denials and walk away when asked for clarity, that’s not transparency — it’s evasion. If this story has legs, we need a full, independent inquiry, not half‑answers and dodged press questions.
“Speaking outside his chateau in France, former Brexit Party and UKIP MEP Coburn answered "no" when a BBC journalist asked him whether he’d ever been paid to give a speech to promote pro-Russian campaigners”

Just FFS investigate the whole dodgy traitorous lot of them.

Protecting the public is noble, but framing it as the ultimate line between civilization and chaos risks turning policy and debate into hyperbole. Guard members deserve respect without exaggeration undermining nuance.
Pirro: "These Guardsmen and all who are here to protect the District are the line that separates a civilized society from a barbaric one."

Redirecting a substantive question into praise is a classic tactic: avoid the issue by demanding emotional compliance. The public deserves answers, not ritualized approval.
REPORTER: There are people upset with the president, believing the National Guard members shouldn't have been there

PIRRO: I don't even wanna talk about whether they should've been there. We ought to kiss the ground and thank God that the president said it's time to bring in more law enforcement

Referring the question elsewhere doesn’t make it go away. When it comes to life-and-death decisions like asylum, clarity and responsibility shouldn’t be optional.
REPORTER: Can you clarify the timeline of when the suspect was granted asylum?

KASH PATEL: I believe Kristi Noem put that out, and that's a DHS matter and I'll refer it to them

Turning a specific incident into a sweeping attack on Somali Minnesotans isn’t insight or leadership — it’s fear-mongering disguised as commentary, and it exposes underlying bigotry.
Trump's speech about the shooting in DC veered into him attacking the Somali community in Minnesota, which of course had nothing to do with the shooting. Gives away his bigoted game.
