RHP Jose Quintana's one-year, $6 million contract with the #Rockies for 2026 is finalized.
In a corresponding roster move, RHP Jeff Criswell (Tommy John) has been placed on the 60-day injured list.
Quintana will wear no. 62. The 40-man roster is full.

The #Rockies have officially announced the broadcast schedule for spring training. Only 2 games will feature the TV crew while the KOA feed will be simulcast for pretty much everything else. Opposing team feeds will be included for a handful of games as well

For what it's worth, I legitimately feel for Kris Bryant. He's got a degenerative back condition that really isn't going to get better without career-ending surgery. However, him going on the 60-day IL was a foregone conclusion. He hasn't done baseball activities since he was shut down last year.

It's a fascinating signing in my opinion. Weird, experimental, and very different for the #Rockies.
Sugano gave up a lot of home runs last year, but he boasts an extensive pitch mix and has excellent command. He's also the first Japanese pitcher to sign with the Rockies in over 20 years.

I will never understand the complete lack of consistency anymore. I have worn a New Era Flex L/XL for most of my adult life. Bought a new WBC hat. Flex L/XL. It's too big.
