I think it bears repeating that the #Rockies are still going to be bad next year. They may not be 119 losses bad, but bad they shall be.
This is the ground floor of an extensive rebuild where, if done correctly, large parts of this organization will be torn down to the studs.

The #Rockies hire of Josh Byrnes is a slam dunk on paper. He has extensive experience both with winning teams and the NL West. Despite being only 55 he has 26 years of front office experience.
He also fits the bill of someone Dick Monfort knows and will hopefully trust without interfering.

Absolutely embarrassing showing by the Nuggets. Completely shut down in the fourth by one of the worst teams in the league. Meanwhile, they played no defense and lost yet another starter to a lower extremity injury.
