My previous workplace had incredibly toxic management and a douchebag "macho man" maga culture between almost all the employees. My current workplace couldn't be further from the opposite; a 50/50 blend of women and men in both management and employees, and everyone is kind and empathetic.

I'm saving up to buy guns this year. Not because I necessarily want them, but for protecting my family in 2026 and beyond. A great way to get the NRA and MAGA crowds riled up would be having a wave of liberals and minorities buying guns.

Fully investing my sports attention to the Pistons and the Red Wings now that the Lions have shit the bed this season. I'll still tune into MSU hoops and hockey because they're great and Go Green! But the Pistons and Wings are my top priority since they're at the top of their conferences.

The Lions broke my heart in a way that felt familiar, but I haven't felt it since the Stafford years in Detroit. This was a crazy talented team that collapsed due to injuries, coaching, offensive line issues and defensive woes. Haven't seen a Lions team collapse like this since the Jim Caldwell era.
