Some good news: Most people don't trust Trump and RFK Jr.'s claims about autism.
Just four percent of respondents told a KFF poll they believed the claim was definitely true, while 30 percent said it was probably false and 35 percent said it was definitely false

when someone says "my dice are cursed" you sort of have to agree with them because if you say "marius you are a grown man and I know you know that's not how probability works" they won't say anything but they'll treat you like you are in league with the cursed dice

I still get the hangover, but it isn't that bad anymore. I distract myself or sleep a bit and I'm fine again.

used to be I had to stop after two episodes, with an alarm set. The more I watched, and the longer the happy hormone boost lasted (the "high"), the worse the hangover would be. And the only thing that made the hangover better was watching more - I'd get stuck in a cycle for days or weeks.

tw addiction depression

god it DOES feel real good to spend a day with nothing but tv shows and chocolate. My antidepressants allow me to sleep off the serotonin (dopamine?) "hangover" and not get stuck in a cycle.

Used to be binge watching was like drugs to me.

ich bin auch in ner Großstadt. Vielleicht ist meine offline Bubble auch einfach "zu" vorsichtig um repräsentativ zu sein. Oder Corona hat weniger diesen markanten Husten und dadurch krieg ich das in der Uni weniger mit (die testen sich alle nicht)

zugegeben ist der Peak aber aktuell auch noch klein verglichen mit schlimmeren Jahren, und einige der neuem Strains haben auch schwächere Symptome. Vielleicht läuft mein inneres Radar noch auf 2022 Krirterien

meine Bubble testet nur noch bei Symptomen (erfahrungsgemäß ist der Test vorher eh negativ aich wenn es Corona ist). Hier gehen definitiv Erkältungen rum aber alle Corona/Influenza/RSV negativ.

The coroner explicitly stated long wait lists resulting in hopelessness and social media bullying encouraging her to kill herself led to her death.

Blood is on the hands of every gender critical person who stripped access to care and goes after trans folks online.
