I’m glad things like ace week are a thing. It took me until my late 20s to understand that I’m ace, but if it had been more widely spoken about when I was younger I don’t think it would have taken me half as long, and it would have saved me a lot of unhappiness.

Hell yeah! If you haven't seen it yet "Talk to Me" was really good too and by the same directors / set in the same universe so I highly recommend that one too!

I wish they had touched upon it more but I liked the supernatural lore in the film as well. I don't want to spoil anything of course but I am always very interested in the occult, supernatural, and spiritual when it comes to horror films and it was just really really cool!

For blood and gore and such, it had some "what the fuck!" moments for me, but they didn't feel gratuitous and the whole thing wasn't just torture porn or anything like that.

There were so many good themes present that the film touched on. Grief and how it manifests and can lead to obsession, and cause us to harm others was a huuuuge one that I found really compelling. How we respond to trauma and ptsd, the flaws in the adoption system, and more! It had a lot of depth!

It really seems like it's all just bots or people who want to do nothing but shut themselves in and argue with people all day. 😬 I had never put much thought into Dead Internet Theory until recently but it definitely feels like Twitter is a perfect example of it.

I got AMC to watch Interview With the Vampire specifically but shudder is included so worth. 🙏 I don't think it has the entire shudder library though which sucks a bit.
