An important thing to do to prevent brainrot is force yourself to interact with bits of non-attention-economy-driven culture regularly -- I recently added a Chrome extension that sets a different painting from the NGA as the background every time I open a new tab.

I can, indeed, confirm. There are, in fact, several episodes where people Archie dislikes pass away and even then he's capable of compassion.

AH! Another opportunity to recommend one of my favorite books on Nazis: Drunk On Genocide by Edward Westermann. In it, he argues that alcohol/partying/gendered drinking rituals played a much more significant role in the Third Reich than amphetamines.

One thing that has become abundantly clear to me since starting the pod is that people *really love* content made for them by indie creators and *really hate* when those independent creators need money to be able to make said content
