A really poorly drawn MSPaint diagram. It's completely nonsensical by itself and looks dumb. It's actually a diagram showing all six possible resolves for the Ultraviolent Ray mechanic of M8S, with arrows saying where people should go. It was made as a "okay this is how it could be" idea. In addition to the 6 standard patterns, there's also two more patterns that should not come up in practice. These also have their resolves, but are academic. Or for UV4 when the fight gets weird.

Nerdy kid at keyboard: Hi guys, I've noticed that it is International Men's Day today, and I'm confused. Why do we need a day to talk about men? We're not a marginalised group like women, queer people, or people of colour. The media is already full of stories about men. Big buff shirtless dude at keyboard: I'm glad you asked, champ. Whatever your view on men's place in society, it's still true that we face a lot of issues - like social isolation, risk of suicide, health problems, and attitudes towards sex and child rearing. Having a day to talk about those doesn't take away from anyone else's problems. In fact, having a day to talk about them helps us be more mindful, and listen better at other times. Second shirtless buff dude on a couch at his laptop: The chief here is really on to something. I want to echo what he said, and also point out that the idea we should remain silent about our problems actually contributes to a lot of our issues. We are human beings, with human needs. Seeking mutual support and understanding isn't the same thing as placing a burden on others. Especially if we're providing it for each other. Third buff dude at his laptop: Right on, my fellow kings. We've inherited a social legacy of competition and division, and a lot of what makes a man in our era is under question. IMD is a chance for us to examine and rethink what we are together, and build the bonds of solidarity and support that will make a better way possible - like in this meme. Because in our hearts, we're all curious kids and buff guys on keyboards.

And a few alternate versions.
The aforementioned image of Faetana shielding against Howling Blade, except it only shows Faetana Mol and Howling Blade on a black background and not the rest of the image. The same image as before, except the background is replaced with a black background for the sake of highlighting all the colours. It's not as good but it's a thing. The aforementioned image, except that there lacks emanations coming from the shield and sword. This gives a lot more clarity as to how the image looks, and doesn't disguise a lot of the more terrible brushstrokes and lineart. The detailing is awful. My initial sketch of the scene, taken from a bunch of screencap references. There is a black background but the majority of the details are condensed into single-colour stuff.

This references today's M8S Prog where I was singlehandedly shielding through all of the big raidwides and feeling awesome doing so.

Rho Aias is accompanied by the Sage's Nouliths. On the right hand, behind the shield, is Faetana Mol in full Red Mage gear casting. Technically the wrong class, but it's cooler than my Sage Glam. On the left is a drawing of Howling Blade, Retsarra, striking the sword with his blade. The overall quality of the image is mid, but it's an image, and it's cool.

As another thing for that previous image, here's the other part of the thing.
This is Cocoa in Night Maid Rarity's outfit. Because in a universe where Nightmare Moon wins, Cocoa's elevated to a higher standing. There's been a few versions of this elsewhere, even.
My MLP OC, Cocoa T Tree, dressed in the Night Maid outfit from The Cutie Re-Mark. It's not that well drawn, but I drew it, and that's what matters.

I did some art for the first time in a while. I decided to draw my OC, Cocoa, in the Crystal Prep Academy Uniform.
An image of my OC, Cocoa T Tree, from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It is humanised, and her human tones make her look very human. She's wearing the Crystal Prep Academy Uniform, which is the uniform of a rival school, and marked with the Shadowbolts logo. Her cutie mark, a chocolate bar, is on her chest pocket. Overall the image looks rather amateurish, and the hands are literally just circles with a little bit of terrible shading. Clearly, whoever drew this is no good at art. Art by me, Faetana@Bsky.
