Here's my #TTRPG games. It's just me designing, writing, editing and art directing; I do it because I'm passionate about the #rpg hobby and I love to share that passion.

My short D12 titles are PWYW, so head on over and get a rules-light fast action bargain.

These are fantastic.
I love these 'Naval Charts' for various TOS vessels by @mark2000.bsky.social - especially his Vulcan T’Plakta-class.

Hear me out... a 'The Mummy' TV series based on the 1999 classic starring Zoë Steiner and Joe Keery.

TTRPG argument starter for Friday 15th January.

That RPG you enjoy? The system doesn't do it's job properly and if you're enjoying it then you're obviously playing it wrong.

Checkmate, nerds.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of Starfleet Academy. Setting it when they have gives them all kinds of opportunities and a chance at changing things up, so it's going to be interesting to see what directions they take it in.

I still want my Lost Era show, though!

Once I'm done with my rewatch of Star Trek TOS - although I know I'm going to struggle with some episodes of Season 3 - I'm going straight into the animated series. I'm sure I've missed some episodes of this so it'll be nice to make sure I'm up to date.

Jerry Goldsmith's score for 'Star Trek The Motion Picture' is sublime. The overture alone is fantastic.

So where are the Proud Boys and patriots, the whole Don't Tread On Me crowd dead set against government overreach. Why aren't they on the streets protesting about government interference, willing to fight and die for it? All I see is dozens and dozens of ICE agents.

Oh.

Oh, right.

I've been really into my classic TOS Star Trek recently and off the back of this video the Vanguard books were recommended to me.

I've picked up the first one - Harbinger by David Mack - so let's see what's behind this fan film.

Me: 'That's fine, no worries!'

There's a big post-Khitomer campaign I want to run using the Modiphius Star Trek RPG, set aboard the USS Chance - one day, I'll properly flesh it out and actually run it.

I've not run a full Trek campaign since the 1990s; I used the FASA RPG and then the Task Force Games Prime Directive version.
I had a spare hour so I knocked up this simple mega rules-light Star Trek TTRPG using my 'Adventure!' RPG mechanics.

It's just a bit of fun.

Took delivery of the Dead Space 3 Limited Edition Guide today - nice book with some great concept art and details, and the Penguin print is cool.

I might pick up the others.

Another load of great Star Trek fan videos are by Resurrected Starships, who does some analysing of ships and encounters and presents them with animations and maps.

They're a great watch, and his 'The Four Years War' two-parter is fantastic.

This is a pretty cool Star Trek fan production. I really like the selection of TOS-era starships.

Far Trek is a decent Star Trek TTRPG set in TOS era, and was designed as a lighter take on the show although it can be played completely straight.

I get the impression that it was developed with the intention of becoming something more, but it really works as a fan game.

'Death's-Head' was the first Strontium Dog story I read. l was so enamoured by this page I spent hours drawing it over and over again. The design, the stance, just the amazing Ezquerra artwork. Copying stuff like this helped me teach myself to draw, along with Russ Nicholson's art.

TV show now!

I have fond memories of 3 albums I listened to in the 1980s when writing RPG adventures.

Holst's The Planets when writing Fighting Fantasy.
Beethoven's 5th when writing D&D Basic.
Orff's Carmina Burana when writing WFRP.

Hearing any track from these albums transports me back to my little box room.
