Hi!

I'm Justin. I'm almost 40, I (unfortunately) live in Texas, I've been working in gaming since 2015, and I repost a lot of art, astronomy, memes, and occaisionally politics (extremely anti-fascist).

There's no algorithm here, so I repost more than I did on Twitter. Reposts save lives!

Pickering's Triangle. This is part of the supernova remnant called the Cygnus Loop, with the Eastern Veil on one side of it and the Western Veil on the other. I find it very hard to capture. #astronomy #Astrophotography

I'd somehow missed that the new Mercedes concept was called the Vision Iconic.

Quite like the styling, less so the visuals of that launch event, but my main request now is that there's an automotive industry moratorium on using the word "iconic" for something brand new.

I captured Comet Lemmon early October 7, 2025. Using my 300mm Ceravolo telescope and CCD camera. About 30 minutes of total exposures using LRGB filters. The tail is much longer than shown in this 1 degree field of view.

The Soouuullll Nebula.

This is 14hrs on a C9.25 and Hyperstar during a full moon phase(I know, I was desperate). You can tell the moon reduced the dynamic range that I was able to capture, but still was able to capture some decent detail regardless!
