My favourite thing about Uma Musume S3 is that Mihono Boubon & Rice Shower are all but confirmed as a couple.

Honestly I thought Kitasan Black was probably my favourite lead so far, which made it somewhat disappointing that, unlike Suzuka and McQueen, I never really liked Satona Diamond enough to make me care about their friendship/rivalry.

Three seasons into Umamusume and the thing that's spinning me out is that after each of the generations have their moment, the girls just sort of stick around at the school, seemingly never aging, just showing up to the racetracks and training grounds of their glory days, unable to ever move on

That Witch in Mongolia pv feels like we've accidentally gone full circle, from the films of Cartoon Saloon (Kells, Song of the Sea) picking up the reigns from Ghibli, after it started winding down to Science Saru likely using The Breadwinner as a visual template for adapting Tomato Soup's manga.

If I were to loosely compile a top 2025 list, the periphery would have Hikaru, Dress Up Darling & Dandadan as shows I enjoyed, but that the sheer gushing hype eludes me, alongside Ave Mujica, which I honestly felt was messier & less emotionally resonant than MyGo

I'm watching the Mother's Basement best of 2025 video, & I really feel Geoff enjoyed anime a hell of a lot more than I did this year.

As it stands, the upcoming Ichikawa Land of the Lustrous, etc. artbook is roughly £30 via amazon Japan, with another £15 for the delivery.
The latter isn't ideal but I've honestly no idea how much shipping to the UK roughly costs these days.

I'm really glad I gave Gachiakuta a chance, despite hearing rumblings that it was just more nihilistic tween edge in the vein of your Elfin Lieds or Deadman Wonderlands.
