The latest Fantastic 4 movie, I'm not sure whether it should have been called Fantastic 4: Mother Stands For Comfort, or Fantastic 4: This Woman's Work.
Both versions fit the two main female characters fine. So yeah, it was definitely kind of 60s in its stylings!

Having read Barbra Streisand's autobiography and Elizabeth Taylor's biography it's unsurprising, but still a goddamn tragedy, how patently they were demonised and reviled for being fucking AWESOME while female.

I worked (albeit distantly) with Itagaki san on Devil's Third. He was 100% his public persona professionally; passionate, enigmatic, abrasive and hilarious. His English turn of phrase was singular and wonderful. As he signed off back then:
