i say thank you to the bus driver when i get on and yell thank you when i get off every day i ride the bus, and i take two buses to and from work, being nice and friendly costs you nothing and should be your default expectation for yourself because it improves your day and everyone else’s day

Being nice to people is just fun. Asked young server at taco place how her day was going (fine but tired) and she asked me back. I said I managed to finish my to-do list and she unexpectedly gave me a high five! Treating people like people is always rewarding.

the "anthro"s in my worldbuilding are magic-related humanoid creatures (grouped as fae atm) that adapted to the world around them. they took on traits from mammals, reptiles, avians, fish, plants, fungi, etc as a way to have better survivability. ranges from simple traits to fully anthropomorphic.

ive been so nauseated and dizzy for the last 4 hours i can barely function and the only thing keeping me from going home and staying out til monday has been the fact that i have to call and tell my boss when texting or emailing would be easier. and i have things left i need to do before the weekend.

Look something up on Wikipedia. Go to the little citation. Follow it. Read the article it's referencing. Follow links to the original interview. Read the paper written by the interviewee

It genuinely makes you appreciate journalism
