Distilled almost 2,000 words (and SIX PAGES) of anti-Dhalsim notes into one page and under 300 words of general notes.

My execution on Ken was also, bizarrely, better than before I shelved him. I think just playing the game is gradually improving my comfort with the harder-execution stuff like multi-motion-input combos and run stop extensions. I kept it simple, but I felt more stable.

But even so, the fact that I was able to get a character I hadn’t played in months up to High Master seems like a good sign regarding both my general understanding of fundies, and my ability to play like a complete and total degenerate. JINRAI!!!

Ran a very, very simple game plan. Like, no cH confirms, excessive Jinrai if they didn’t know how to deal with it, throw/shimmy, 2MK and 5HP DRc, some fireballs. Some nonsense. I would need to put actual time into him to rank up further.

But hey, won this set 2-1. Not nothing.

What I need is to break those 6 pages of notes down into maybe maximum 10 short bullet points of "stuff to remember when I see a Dhalsim" and work on that, not all the minutae. I am capable of improving in this MU. It'll probably happen all at once. These are growing pains.

Sat in the replay review for like 45 minutes labbing solutions, taking detailed notes to add to my increasingly extensive Google doc, and concluding that I actually have a lot of info now, but I've overwhelmed myself.

3-2 and 65th out of 203 in TNS! Score-wise, and overall performance-wise, very very good, and encouraging.

Unfortunately, both losses were 0-3 against 1800+ MR Dhalsim players, in which I got not a single round.
