As part of our weekly #FFConf newsletter, we sent @sachajudd.com a few questions about their (tech) origin and their talk - really enjoyed the answers (lots of relatable answers in there!): ffconf.org/articles/202...

Last night Julie and I attended a special evening at The Duke of York's 115 year birthday evening. Superb viewing of movies from 1800s and then Sherlock Jr with Buster Keaton.

I have a lot of love for this venue as it has served us for 16 years of #FFConf ❣️. Looking forward to being back in Nov.

So excited to be speaking with @rivea0.bsky.social at @ffconf.org on Nov 14th about the skills impact of AI coding tools on us as individuals, on our teams and in our industry.

It would be so lovely to see some of you there!

(Remy here) - I run it until all eight spots are allocated, HOWEVER! I was just thinking yesterday that maybe an email to everyone who's still on my (very long) maybe list could do with an email that said "it's not closed yet". Appreciate time is reducing! (do you think that email would be useful?)

There's limited tickets in that early phase run, but if you miss out, there'll be further batches 👍

Last November, I was honoured to speak at @ffconf.org on the topic of critical thinking for software engineers. The video of my talk has just hit YouTube! It’s mostly aimed at software professionals, but I hope it’s enough is accessible to other audiences too.

Then to follow at #FFConf, an excellent scoop of scepticism (spelt…unintentionally with a K in the email and post) from @mikehall314.bsky.social specifically on biases and how we can debug these as webbies: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIEt...
