Bit of a headache, especially to debug, but I think I've got a bluesky to (my own) mastodon account cross poster working using node-red (rather than a mirror process with bridgy).

Why node-red? Because my home assistant is always running, and node-red can run there.

(sorry for the test messages!)

Okay. I've invented a rather over the top (read: redundant) wheel.

If I've read the manual right, I "just" use bridgy and this post should work its way across to Mastodon.

(sorry for the noise!)

Kicking the tyres in node-red (after many years), and seeing if this post manages to cross it's way to my mastodon account.

Today I discovered THREE copies of Photoshop on my desktop: 2024, 2025 and 2026 … which, hasn't happened?

I should really cancel that account, especially after I paid for Affinity _and_ it's free now.

Sure, let's spend an hour trying to recover diskspace on my laptop because apparently 1/4 of a terrabyte isn't enough

Having fun with scroll-target-group and soooper close to sticking my foot in it's mouth.

It works. It doesn't work. It works. It doesn't. It works. There's a cat on my head. It works. A horse walked in. It doesn't work. Actually it's a butterfly. It works. It's a margarinefly. It doesn't work.

What would the Green Party do at the Budget?

💡 Cut energy bills by ending profiteering
🚰 Cut water bills by bringing water into public hands
🏠 Give councils the power to control rents
🚸 Lift the two-child benefit cap and extend free school meals to all

Cut Bills. Tax Billionaires.

Pretty on brand for chatgpt - it's _sort_ of believable that this could be me, but if you know me well enough, you know that shatty-geepee is being over generous with the truth.

I'm still working my way around Apple Music. Anyone know if there's a way to list songs in a "list" like format. i.e. with columns for artist, play length etc?

Otherwise, is there a good alternative UI?

Oh, and the moon on a stick.

I can't be the only one that's starting to get an abundance of smart plugs...I hope.

4 of these are dodgy tuya/tapo third party sometimes failing, partially cloudy dependant plugs that I've cycled out in favour of ZigBee plugs.

Anyone seen, and able to recommend "Anna and the Apocalypse"? Not for right now, for our christmas movie day (sans-kids).

Zombie/British/Musical 🤷 - quite a mashup.

Today in thieves, cheats & grifters on the internet.

Talent500, who have a gold check account on twitter, copied a few bits of my article that I worked for 3 weeks on. Could not even be bothered to copy enough to get to a working solution, stopped at intermediary steps. And "forgot" to give credit.

Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the transgender lives lost to violence.

The Green Party stands shoulder to shoulder with transgender people in the face of increasing transphobic rhetoric in our society and politics.
