How to get all the RSS feeds from @bell.bz's query.

I've put the actual code in the alt text. There's one part of me that says that's accessible, whilst my gut says a screenreader announcing all this code is fairly useless (but then it can be copied?).

The little (hacked) handheld always surprises me. It holds its charge especially well - I've not charged it in 6 months and still boots (which I don't tend to expect from modern hardware).

Just an aging JavaScript developer attempting to learn things (I'm learning, whether I'm succeeding is entirely a flip of a coin, that's super glued to the floor)

Using home assistant to make things "simpler". Here's the situation with the heating (which, is more cost effective AND simplified from what it looked like yesterday!)

Wonder why this caused chatgpt to go into an infinite loop 🤔 I mean, I don't really care that much.

Wonder if @simonwillison.net has any interesting insights… original input picture attached

In fact, likewise for edge functions et al - for instance here, there's been _something_ that's taking an increasing drive of traffic to serverless functions, but it's hard to find what when I've got a lot of little projects (obvs one isn't so little anymore!)

@netlify.com On the /billing/usage page, I can download a CSV of the bandwidth by website (which is _really_ useful for identifying which sites are "leaking" large files). However, it would be _super_ benificial to have it als on web-requests - because I can't tell where the spikes are landing.

I do love the little improvements I find around @netlify.com - now I want automatic blocking if there's this kind of bullshit abuse of a website.

I guess I'll manually block - user agent puports to be a normal browser, but that's a lie. Top IP managed 1,000 requests in 60 seconds.

Fucking AI bots.

Been doing a bit of DIY tickboxing. It only took me 12 years to hang The Fixer's Manifesto (it was sent to me by the Sugru people after I said nice things about Sugru on twitter that long ago).

Finally found a place for the stickers I've been hoarding for the last five or so years (now got to find the rest of the #FFConf stickers too)

It's cool that even though I've disabled the AI features in Chrome devtools, I can't actually disable the AI features in devtools and the SUPER EYECATCHING BLUE icon sits proudly there, utterly unwanted.

Remember kids, a pet isn't just for Christmas. But. If he does happen to crawl into a box under the tree, feel free to leap into action and wrap that little fella up pronto!

Third film, another 2 hour jobby, The Holdovers. Wanted to see this when it came out but never found time. A really lovely film, plus a super wonky eye!

Movie #2 is done (actually 4 episodes) of Man vs Baby - good silly stuff.

It's Christmas Movie Day for us.

Started with The Apartment, 1960. Not sure we expected the infidelity, misogyny and suicide - but solid movie (obviously lasted the rest of time). Not entirely convinced of the Christmas aspect though!

Anyone know how to get the @netlify.com metrics for a single project and how many edge functions are called? I've got a suspicion that I've got a single project that's causing a massive spike.

Can't play tonight but *really* looking forward to cracking this open.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.

(really want to watch this again now - can you name it?)

I have. I'm not a fan. The power draw during boot is a total shit, this is mine and it usually takes many attempts to get it to start (then sometimes it won't shutdown). Maybe it's just my board, but I'm sure I read that the power button was dodge on these.

I've got my Christmas batch of retro to repair, refresh, mod and sell on.

Maybe it's a gift for a loved one, maybe it's a gift to tell yourself that you're loved.

I really need to get these homes/Christmas trees 👉 retrobyrem.uk

TIL Apple mail (desktop and iOS) if you set `height: fit-content` on an image, it'll just stretch real tall. No clue why, but that's why our emails have been weird in Apple user's inboxes.

The fix: remove it entirely.

It's such bullshit the way these papers write about someone who executed such violence.

Playing about with backlight mod hacks for the original WonderSwan. Neither are perfect, but it's so hard to see without some help (or the Sun on your shoulder).

Does bluesky allow for multiple images? (I think it does)
