I don’t know how to explain it, but for me…

Going from a turn the key vehicle start to a push button vehicle start feels like losing the ability to slam the phone down after a particularly vexing phone call.

Ailing wannabe dictator yelling at his people and insisting that they're getting richer and safer when all the evidence demonstrates the opposite.

This is Gaddafi-levels of lunacy.

Good luck with that since most of the hate speech is from ex-Liberal Party members, and being amplified by the Murdoch media.

I assume Trump plans to declare war against Venezuela tonight.

All this to hide from the Epstein Files, and to expand his business interests in another country to gain access to oil.

It's not about the drug cartels.

I think if you’re the lead of a creative endeavor like a AAA video game and you’re so incapable of delegating aesthetic ideas to artists on your team that you have to resort to the slop machine, you probably shouldn’t have that job

Ending a $5 million research study when it is 70% complete does not save $1 million, it wastes $4 million.

When a project loses federal funding before completion, finding alternative resources is challenging. Most philanthropies do not have comparable resources.

There is zero reason for you to be watching the “news” more than once a week at most.

It is not informing you anymore, it is just manipulating you.

Get out in the world and sniff some trees.

All I am saying is that it has me absolutely stumped how anyone manages to get any action at all once their kids are old enough to be suss on what they’re doing.

Bought myself a 2nd hand chair and stool off of marketplace. Sat in it this morning and got comfy with my feet on the stool, until Mr Mog discovered the stool. Got up at one point to get a drink, haven’t been able to sit there since.

Whatever regretful comments you may have made in your life, whatever actions you wish you could take back, let your benchmark for the lowest of the low be using the deaths of 15 people for the relaunch of your political career

I think it's funny how much time and effort we spend trying to create warnings for future civilizations about radioactive waste dumps, as if any of us actually heeded the warnings on ancient tombs. Humans do not heed warnings unless deeply tied to religious dogma. And even then!

I think its a good thing if studios are afraid of people even thinking they used AI in their production pipeline.

I hope other studios see the immediate backlash to even the most anticipated of games and realize how much of a bad idea it is to even look in the direction of GenAI.

I do not begrudge the people working 2 or 3 or 5 full time remote jobs (office or otherwise; we're all hustling), but I begrudge them doing it badly and making my own job harder. You gotta be responsive, get your shit done, turn your camera on, and show up to meetings.

101 stuff, yo.

I have long thought that if John Howard had been the opposition leader after the Port Arthur massacre, he would have fought tooth and nail against any changes to gun laws, and used the event & proposed law changes to attack the govt & cause division.

This week shows that to be true.

I know that technically Politicians are human. But there are times when they have to put their own personal feelings and ambition aside to help the country and the people they serve. Its disappointing that the Conservatives in Australia arent doing that (although not surprising)
