That is why I talked about averages and SD from the mean. It isn’t virtue, it is socialization. Not all women, just like not all men. It’s a numbers game, not a sweeping statement on a gender. It is also a way to counter inherent biases that exist in our systems.

Who is most likely to demonstrate caring and compassion? Those who are at the intersection of many oppressions. They know racism. Sexism. Bigotry and oppression. If not personally, than again on average, more than others. Cheesy? Absolutely. Either way, I actively support women, especially WOC.

On average, I’m all about supporting black women for that reason. It’s a numbers analysis for me. I want to care for the tired, the poor, those yearning to breathe free, the homeless, and others.

anyone thinking all men are toxic. I’m talking about bell curve averages and 1-2 standard deviations from the mean when it comes to behavior stats. Less violence. Less orthodox capitalist behavior. There are always the extremes, so let’s focus on the averages.

Religion is a huge part of culture. Jews have BuJews (Buddhist), food Jews (cultural), and celebrate the seasons cyclically. Our traditions have created cultural norms. Few would put up an open tent in the fall to remember being without shelter during harvest without faith tradition to back it up.

Do people intentionally care for others at the same rate without a community of faith? I volunteer quite often & while there are always a handful of unaffiliated people, faith groups are the foundation of care and community. No one requires belief in god in my faith, we welcome atheists & agnostics.

Religion is used as a scapegoat. Too many non-religious horrible people exist that contradict the “all” part of your theory. People who insist on conformity & do not allow for questioning or challenging authority is the problem.

Trump isn’t religious & plenty of faiths fight for the marginalized.
