Literally nothing makes me want to read a book like hearing writers gush about their own characters and stories and maybe that will never be the ~trendy marketing thing, but I'm always going to prefer it, every day, over snippy little bullet point posts and lists of fashionable tropes and comps.

We went to see Iron Lung last night! It was very good, very refreshing to see a movie not bogged down by Hollywood and product placement. I’d heard some complaints about it being confusing, but I had no problem following the plot. Just had to keep my brain online, which I loved. 😎

😐 someone hacked my husband’s p*ypal account… the good news is they didn’t get any money, but p*ypal put his account in the negative with charge backs (we have disputed this).
Until that’s resolved we don’t have rent or birthday brunch money 🫠

We seem to have found the cause of Cooper’s pee crimes, which means he is allowed on the bed again (supervised, for now). He’s very happy about this 😭

maybe its because im a pretentious writer and artist but i kind of hate when people call art or writing "pretentious". ime it usually means the person saying it doesnt have the background to understand what they're supposed to be engaging with. which is fine but dont make it someone elses problem
