Really weird with City already out of the playoffs. The last several years the roster contract announcements come out right away. This year we still have almost 3 weeks before they are due to the league office. So the wait continues.

Every once in a while I looks at the standings in the Western Conference and remember that Orlando City has the Galaxy first round pick this off-season because the Galaxy wanted an international slot. And I laugh heartily.

This is a Leagues Cup game not an MLS game. MLS technically not running the show.
This would be simultaneously hilarious and embarrassing for the league, if it actually cared - which it certainly doesn't.

Are Ivan Angulo and Alvaro Angulo related? Both born in the same town in Columbia wearing #77 it seems like they would have to be, but I have never heard that they are.

Freeman being picked for PKs was something of a surprise to me. He has played RB every minute in the Gold Cup. Though he has mostly been tasked with defensive duties, Poch seems to trust the 20 year old. Whatever happens next year at the WC, Freeman has made an impression.

Not upset about the result. Upset that we burned more minutes on our starters when we have three more games in a row on short rest. We are obviously already on heavy legs.

Really wondering how Orlando City lines up Wednesday night against Nashville. Seems like a lot of rotation is necessary. On attack Enriqu and Dunca seem like locks to start, and maybe Caraballo. Seems like Freeman and the two CMs could use a break,but DD can only play one position.
