Anyone else having longer than usual side effects from flu and/or covid vaccines this year? I got both a little over a week ago and my body is definitely still struggling with *something* but I dunno if it's that or coincidental timing.

Do you ever realize a while after getting up that a thing you got in a dream isn't real and you don't have it? Damn that was a really neat thing.

So far, all the games I used to play on Windows work fine on Linux via Proton/Wine. I think the ONLY thing left I will ever use Windows for is to compile/test/debug my own games because I'm supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac. If the market share ever shifts enough, maybe I'll stop doing that too.

Every time I see someone share something they found on Twitter/X, I struggle with a dilemma between wanting to call them out and/or block them for funding a hateful and harmful agenda, versus just ignoring it moving on because ... I'd be shutting out hundreds of people and I'm tired of being angry.

I've actually been using a docked Steam Deck as a casual use desktop for the last few weeks, to help mentally separate work and recreation time. My Mac setup is for music production and game development, and I spend most of the rest of my time on the Steam Deck. Will share some thoughts in a thread.

I've been listening to this album a lot the last few days and DAMN it's good. Fav tracks are "Serpent" and "Last Rites," but they're all solid.

Randomly remembering the time a bunch of people used "spill" names on their conbadges, like "Spilliam Shatner" and "Spilly Mays", and I don't think I ever found out what that was about.

Stupid idea that would probably never take off, but: What if there were a streaming service specifically for discovering and previewing music, but if you want to listen to a song more than a few times you get prompted to buy it?

Carplay is great until buggy implementations (probably from the automaker) require you to reboot your car and disconnect/reconnect multiple times just to listen to music. And Ford somehow thinks it's helpful to start playing FM radio every time something fails so I have to turn that off ~10 times.
