New study suggests that metastatic cancer cells may evade the immune system by stealing mitochondria from immune cells and setting up a ‘shield’ that protects them from being killed by immune cells. Wiley little bastards.

Cancer might evade immune defences by stealing mitochondria
Hijacking the energy-producing organelles from immune cells seems to help tumours in mice to infiltrate lymph nodes.

Jennings is a liar. DHS are liars. Lying gets you paid in the GOP club. Personally, I could never ...
🤥 JENNINGS: “ICE removed 2500 rapists & murderers from Minneapolis.”

@tiffanydcross.bsky.social : “That’s a lie. They aren’t all those things.”

Jennings: “These are the government’s numbers.” 🙃

Scott knows acting like DHS doesn’t lie is ridiculous. But he’s a pro liar too.

George Orwells famous line from 1984 about wanting to be understood more than loved becomes a lens to explore modern loneliness, work culture, and the hunger for genuine recognition. Tracing Winston S...

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Did you know?
2025 was the third hottest year on record, and the last 11 years are the warmest ever. Oceans absorbed 90% of the extra heat, fueling stronger storms, heavier floods & marine die-offs.
This isn't "weather", it's our planet screaming. Time to listen.

ICE isn’t making rare mistakes. This is the point.

When an agency can grab people first and sort out rights later, if they bother at all, everyone is at risk. Citizen or not.
