in better news, we’ve been getting more frequent visits from our local crow. they eat from the bird feeder but they especially enjoy scarfing down leftover duck kibble. this gives me the same joy that handing out candy on halloween and saying „take as much as you want“

dude i’m getting so frustrated, every time i look up anything interesting i get the stupid AI answer of „idk“ and then a bunch of peer reviewed studies underneath that that say „cos government halted our progress multiple times, our studies never got far so we dunno“

Wicked2 had bad writing and at one point she goes „Here I am! …….. You want a piece of me? …… “ and then someone coughed inbetween the silence which just made it dumber to me and i was fighting for my life for the next 5 mins not to burst out laughing. tears were running down my face :P

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
