Our country is in crisis. Bills are too high. People are being forced to live in mouldy, unaffordable homes. One in three kids is living in poverty.

The budget is this government's chance to turn things around: it's time to cut bills and tax billionaires.
At the Budget, the Green Party's message is clear: Cut Bills. Tax Billionaires.

What a shocking waste of opportunity this government has proved to be.
It has squandered its time and attention on ridiculous fiscal rules, persecuting refugees and trashing ecosystems in the name of growth, while failing to deliver what we so desperately want.

Financial markets across the world are flashing red.

The S&P 500 has finally turned down after weeks of irrational optimism. The FTSE 100 is sliding. Gold is falling. Bitcoin is collapsing.

Are we ready for the consequences? I’m not sure we are.

Shabana Mahmood says she's called a "fucking paki" to defend Labour's refugee policy.

She's doing what every non-white conservative has been doing for years:
Weaponizing her skin colour to defend a racist agenda.

But she's not the problem. Keir Starmer is.

The solution was to say: "we will provide legal routes and the resources to process these claims faster." Instead we have what Labour disgorged into the discourse: totally rotten stuff that will only make things worse. We can all see it, yet somehow it evades these people who run the country.

The small boats "problem" was manufactured by the Tories. They did it because they thought it would keep them in power by fending off UKIP (now Reform), and look where that's got them and all of us today!

The "problem" could be solved in a day with safe routes, allowing them to work & rent etc
If you can zoom in far enough, check out the heady days of 2018 before the Conservative government closed access to legal applications thereby *causing* a small boats problem. And today they’re (mainly Chris Philp) doing the media rounds telling Labour where they’re going wrong. #refugees #r4today

Avi Loeb is full of shit, he's done cool stuff in the (now quite distant) past but he keeps yelling aliens these days about everything in fields he doesn't understand
Avi Loeb's calculations about 3I/ATLAS are 100% wrong because he has never understood that dust in the tail(s) responds to solar radiation pressure. Solar wind shapes the ion tail. But the radiation pressure is about 1000 times larger than the solar wind ram pressure, for particles that feel it.
