Evan, you should mention when presenting the lower migration figures that the loss of £14 billion is not really “good news”. #bbcpm #immigration #Brexit
The OBR has calculated that if net inward migration drops by 100,000 the UK loses about £7 billion in tax revenue. Well, the news is it's fallen by 200,000. So the country is £14 billion worse off.

Removal of the child benefit cap will cost about £3bn/year.

Anyone from Reform UK care to comment?

C’mon #wato. The net migration figures aren’t really about asylum seekers. What about the impact on hospitals, construction, universities and the wider economy? This is an act of self-harm.

The BBC is becoming like Pravda in the 1970s; they report government approved news but gossip running in the background is going into overdrive among the masses. #ReithLectures #wato #bbcpm #Censorship
Wow. BBC journalists are now not even allowed to report the censored line from my Reith Lecture, that Trump is “the most openly corrupt president in American history.”

You can hear how carefully they’re forced to tiptoe around it. So chilling...

Got to love how much praise NYT gets for one article, 2+ years late, that literally just rehashes things we all knew already but NYT has spent the last 2 years ignoring & denying & obfuscating.

If a Green Party led council were pulling this kind of shit we’d never hear the end of it. But it’s the #ReformUK Party so softly, softly is the media approach. Hold these grifters to account. #r4today
Unsurprisingly, it's not only Kent where Reform being in charge is turning everything to shit.

Why we can’t have nice things; we’ve got all the wrong people in positions of power and good people like Chris Packham left on the sidelines shouting you’re doing it all wrong. The man is a saint if not already a national treasure. #r4today

The Telegraph is now having to publish so many corrections to articles where it attempts to find *any angle whatsoever* to attack net-zero polices that it makes sense to start tracking them here.

These are the ones published since Labour won the election.

I’m having difficulty dredging up much sympathy for this couple stranded in #Iran. Zaghari-Ratcliffe went there due to familial ties, to visit parents, she took a risk which didn’t pay off. This couple however were nothing short of reckless, touring there despite Foreign Office warnings. #r4today
