Omg. Thanks for asking. 💁🏽‍♀️ CW - for 2nd Gen kids.

I made it in a flurry, when I first created a public account for gaming. I realized someone had the one I first planned, so I landed on this one & just went with it.

Growing up “Your mom is a FOB!” was a common insult. 🧵
Explain your username

It’s my name without vowels.

I come from a land where the interval between two notes is such that the frequency of the higher note is double that of the lower note. And I work for BGG.
Keeping the tradition alive.
I'm packing now.

I will have Dark Chocolate Covered Pistachios on my person if you need a pick me up after all the panels!
Who's going to California Library Association Conference next week?!?!?

My library stairwell selfie. If you see me say "Hi!"

I like talking about games, programming and literacy for all ages.
Honestly? Maybe! Idk if folks know what they eat here. My husband is GF, and the amount of times he has to clarify what basic carb has wheat is interesting. My in-laws be like "Does baked potato have wheat? Does rice have wheat? What about brown rice?" 😑
Do Americans just assume everything is made of corn?
I don't know how I'm a grown adult in charge of another younger person's development.

Last night I stayed up till 2am, listening to stand-up while trying to beat Level 20 of Dr. Mario on Med. speed.

I just looked at the BGG listing for that one. Intriguing!
I've definitely had *gasp* moments before. It's so cool to find something on your list that's been out of your price range or out of print. Then pay like $6 for it.

I'm past my days of thrifting for fashion, but it's the same thrill.
The popo are jealous of *his* hat. But they have fabulous hats too!
This is exactly the kind of phone reviews I need. Succinct, exactly what you need to know.
Went from a 14 pro to a 17 pro today and I’m here to say that nothing has changed that any normal person would ever notice.
The thing about being a Thrifting Trash Panda of a Gamer is the element of surprise. A Richard Garfield dice chucker, that plays like an even lighter King of Tokyo? I'd *never* buy it full price, but for $5, sure! It may end up being our fam's favorite game, idk. The Moth cards I'll use at work.
Finally played Mountain Goats. Idk if it will replace Can't Stop for us. There is space for 2 Dice Chucking, pasted on Mountain theme games on my shelves.
🏔️🐐🎲
And CANNED mandarin oranges. 🍊 😑

Those only belong in jello salads.
I love my husband, but he puts banana in fruit salad.

It was still in shrink! I stopped buying to resell. Hopefully this will make someone's day.
This is unusual. It's usually mostly Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit and Scene It variants.

But yesterday? The kid's saying applied: "We lost a baddie." A board game baddie.
I own Santorini and have found it at the thrift twice to give away! ... I'm glad to see it there so many times, because it's a sign to me that it's a hobby game with mainstream appeal.

I would've bought Mystic Vale. But I have a hard limit on how much I spend there. They listed it for $16!
This is the most random thrift assortment.

Donating games to our Teen Zone so the staff have to play with me to learn the games. 😏

I haven't played games in my personal life for a while I've been sooooo tired. Glad for this moment tho.
Rainy SF day in Japantown = Obligatory Kinokinuya Security Mirror Selfie.
My favorite thing about K-Pop is if you have a now problematic 90's fave, there is probably a K-Pop group that sounds just like them that you can discover.
When you're not the "per my last email" type.

I feel this.
"Sorry, I wasn't clear" I type, though I was very clear and you need to learn how to read your emails properly.
Maybe the coffee for breakfast people are not so odd after all.
