Priorities!

I got my two-fer on Tuesday. Shoulder still sore but fortunately that's been the extent of it for me

Still haven't made it even halfway to Olympus though.

Chronos vanquished very suddenly on night 23. Only my second time reaching him. Bit of a dream build - lots of range and passive damage, including an almost maxed out Lunar Beam.

Yeah - you need aggressive tilt manipulation to get a handle on it. Getting a favorable tilt was our top priority almost every turn. We were able to eventually turn into a headwind so we ended with -2 speed to help us with our landing.

Any standout scenarios for you? I've only played the first two and they've both been exciting.

Successfully landed at the red rated Warsaw airport in Sky Team via BGA on our second try

This is a devilish course. Stuck landing gear locks the low speed at 4, but you need to stall twice due to a short approach - with a tailwind adding +3 to your speed! TOUGH!

Screenshot of a portion of the BGA board. An X on the landing gears shows you can't deploy them. The corresponding blue speed threshold marker is permanently locked between the 4 and 5. meaning you need two dice to total 4 to move zero spaces - something we had to do twice even though wind was adding +3 to our move speed at the start. This required quite a lot of manipulating the plane's tilt to get the wind modifier down enough so we could stall, while still threading the needle to adjust tilt through some narrow movement windows on the track itself.

Thorgal: The Board Game - a weird but delightful mish-mash of logistics puzzle and adventure gaming. And polyominoes - polyominoes everywhere!

We beat the pirate hunting scenario on the final action of the final turn with just barely enough polyominoes to win.

Holy crap. Trump will make the FCC crucify Jimmy Kimmel for this.

Big Baby kept crashing Party Animal's party. Bad time for Party Animal.

Played Magical Athlete. Everyone within a couple spaces of winning in the final race.

OMG THAN YOU. I just saw this after reinstalling to try to finally complete a 32 run. Been banging my head on speed running and getting nowhere. First try with a slow/ranged strat and I got to the big guy. Feels doable now.

And every build is a ranged build with Crystal Beam / Crystal Clarity

Yiayia and Gramps were visiting so we played a 6p game of Magical Athlete

A lot of laughter, peaking with a race where no one could make progress because of Hypnotist and Flip-flop - that is until M.O.U.T.H. ate them both - and everyone else too!

Played a family game of Magical Athlete today.

High marks all around. Race #2 elicited the most laughter as Romantic, Party Animal, Baba Yaga, and Heckler triggered powers over and over, including an infinite loop!

Played a 3p game of Millennium Blades - just two tournaments to keep the time reasonable

It's a beast to set up, a beast to put away, a taxing game to learn, and chaotic to play. And yet it's still worth all that. There's nothing else like it.

I put off booting up Hades II because I didn't want to get sucked in.

This morning I decided to start it up "just to see how it looks." Next thing I know I'm a dozen runs in.

Well this is only been the second OT game under the new rules so it's 50%.
