It's probably exactly what people theorized when they made that IP shell company with Tencent. Ubisoft is either shutting down or being fully purchased with the IPs being safe and transferrable.
Ubisoft just postponed its earnings report and halted the trading of its shares. Unclear why at this point but could indicate a major announcement related to the company.

I'm kinda surprised I'm not seeing more people talking about Shatterline. Released initially as a F2P multiplayer game, taken off Steam and re-released as an NFT nightmare which flopped, now the original version is back as a single player game for $10 and purged reviews to avoid the backlash. Wild.

I don't get it, I don't understand what they're doing. The only thing I can think of is pricing out low income gamers to push them towards subscriptions but I don't know why they think that'll ever work when there's so much free shit out there like Moonlight. Also cloud shit sucks, STOP.

It's legitimately embarrassing seeing the state Helldivers 2 is in these days with performance. Going from rock solid 60+ at launch to barely averaging 45, which is entirely dependent on where in my map I'm looking, and crushing down to sub-20 in some cases while almost doubling the file size.

Man mass media reviewing and coverage really has fried people's brains on what a 1-10 scale actually is. It doesn't start at 6 being absolute dogshit, there's numbers before that. Like I just saw someone give a movie and absolutely scathing review but rated it 7.5/10 cause "still fun I guess." ?????
