I will say... i like blades in the dark to a degree, its fun and easy to use, although its can have a bit too many levers at time... well still better than none.. but i do find it rather unsexy how the mechanics feel very clinical compared to how sexy the rest of its fiction is.

This might sound like hyperbole.
It is not.
They took a decision they were warned would cause trans kids to die. Trans kids died. They covered that up and attacked those trying to expose their cover up.
They deserve to go to prison and nobody will ever be held accountable.

Wes Streeting and Louis Appleby should go to prison over this. It's a massive scandal and they covered it up. They knew what they were doing restricting access to care and they did it anyways because of politics.

the thing that is pissing me off about industry is these bankers are younger than me or around my age...i want to be like "what the fuck am i doing" but hell even piss broke my life is 1000 times more rewarding than what they have. I read good books, make art and live with my beautiful girlfriend

I have only have three things in my life i can look for to make a living. - Cooking, Writing, Game Design. All three are marked by under-paying, over-working and prolific worker abuse that is percieved as "normal". More so being an autistic trans girl, it feels hopeless.

im sorry but "the artists is demanding too much" is not a very communist thing to say, esp when the other party is a seat holder on another succesful business.
Some people are shrugging, saying "well thats the industry" - others are allowed to be outraged at this clear betrayal of principles.

I've complained about this fucking dude so much, but i just came across a solo lancer guide that doesn't discuss how how to perform the combat solo... even though it promises it does on the store page.
I fucking hate solo modes that through a sliver of mythic towards you and tell you to make it up

TTRPGs are 10000% easier if you're the kind of person that can be immersed into a genre/tone/setting/character by just imagining shit in your mind *before* you add the game. The game is there to also to be surprised or add a level of physicality - Thats where a lot of my outlook on rpgs stem from.

i cant stand people who are pessimistic about "gimmicks" in rpgs; things like Jenga towers or tarot cards are great. Its also more surprising when people see like playing cards as a "gimmick" hell i saw someone complain about having to shuffled a deck in an rpg.. Just dont play games at that point

Im actually pissed off at how fuckibg ugly that knight of the seven kingdoms show looks. i loved the books and the comics so much as a child. The worst part is the fear, as a fantasy writer, of people imagining fantasy novels in this way. Its depressing as shit.

What the fuck is happening in the daggerheart 3rd party space. what about this game (which seems rigidly super hero esque fantasy narrative-combat game) makes people want to make such wild off kilter genre projects; ive seen cozy cafes, horror road trips, and scifi bullshit for this game. wtf.

The issue with people attempting to do a disco elysium style game is that writing is an extremely under-appreciated skill, especially in video games.

I appreciate what Unsighted is going for, and i just hate the two choices were to engage in the speedrunning stuff or turn it but butcher the narrative. a citizen sleeper clock style that counts days or something would make a happy medium, as am optional mode. I just dont like speedrunning.
