i watched the original xmen trilogy and considered them pretty fine, a bit too embarrassed of their source material and very of their time but fun enough and with heart and the cgi holds up enuff ~ but immediatly i get to Xmen Origins: Wolverine and like... this is dogshit, the cgi is terrible!

it is a very odd thing to me that whenever i say i dont like the sun, in fact i find it rather hostile, people look at me as if im being weird, and yet i have never heard of the rain or the clouds ever giving someone cancer

the galactus design in that fantastic four movie was so shit. like the movie isnt good at all, but they seemed to be really coasting of "its a guy not a cloud this time" that they get away with something so over designed and colourless

im finding a lot of short stories fail when they dont present a "story" but an idea, or a visual. although in this context i think "story" is too limiting, it doesnt have to be a typical narrative but like...like a change in or finishing of thought. does that make sense?

"dont mention the game rules" is one of the worst things to come from narrative games, which is bizzare since apocalypse world never says to do this ~ imo its a designer skill issue, name your moves better if mentioning them kills the vibes you dumbasses.
