Why are we allowing tacky Donald to have another ballroom? He used the last one to showcase highly classified documents.

I’m struggling to think of the last time the Republican senate forced Trump’s hand on a foreign policy issue by actually doing something instead of just talking shit on social media.

Vance on Jan. 8: "You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That's a federal issue. That guy's protected by absolute immunity."

Vance today: "I didn't say that officers who engaged in wrongdoing would enjoy immunity. That's absurd."

Dear Canadian neighbors,
We are sorry that the U.S. president is mentally deranged. We hope to recover from this period of embarrassing stupidity and again be worthy of your friendship.
Sincerely,

Trump was obviously so freaked out by what was released in December that he ordered them to stop releasing stuff. They started releasing. Stuff got deleted. Then it stopped.

We know what happened. Next up - a terrible fire, a flood, rats ate it all and OMG it's all gone.
Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

ICE is an explicitly misogynist militia. It recruits insecure men, kits them out, tells them their tough guys, warns that anyone who resists them is disrespecting their authority (and their fragile masculine status) and imposes no consequences for abuse.

Attacks on Jack Smith are transparent efforts to undermine his testimony. His investigation followed all legal and policy requirements and amassed evidence of Donald Trump’s guilt. Grateful for his courage.

"These are, again, deficits that should have disqualified him from the highest office in the land. But Americans are a credulous people famously vulnerable to grifters and scammers and fraudsters."
Trump is threatening to mire US troops in a foreign conflict, blow up America’s most important alliances, and jeopardize the American economy because his already-low capacity for inhibition has been smoothed down to virtual nonexistence.

Donald Trump Is Not Well
The president has always been unhinged. But lately he seems legitimately demented -- and wants to invade Greenland in a manic fit.

This shouldn’t be normalized. It’s not right.

For those who don't know, Portland, Maine is one of the most f*cking incredible cities in America, just an absolutely magical and warmly embracing place, to see it be terrorized by fascists.... What ICE will do in every safe and beautiful blue city it goes into— from Minneapolis in Minnesota to Portland in Maine—is crow about the 1-2 people with serious long-ago convictions that they detained while saying nothing at all about the 1,000 other innocents and nonviolent people they terrorized.
