Let's start a campaign to add the tag "Arcade Puzzle" to games like Tetris, Lumines, Puyo Puyo, Petal Crash, etc on Steam. These games get lumped in with great but completely different genres of puzzle games like Portal and sadly sidelined. Steam users have the power to carve out this niche!

Sometimes I hate myself for the kind of gameplay ideas I have, coding this tumbling block physics with the screws was SOO hard

But I'm happy that the block puzzles are getting more varied and better integrated with the platforming, pacing and all

Hair is one of my favorite subjects to paint.
A pocket of red encases a floating woman with the skin and head of a canine swathed in hair. The memory of an anthropomorphic cat is turning its head towards the viewer, donning a translucent lavender gown embroidered with symbolic datura. Her eyes are the colors of meadows you visited in your youth or maybe the site of your grave, you actually don't know. A he-goat with long matted fur looks in the viewer's direction. It's unclear if he sees you or sees past you but neither of those assumptions would be true in the end. A figure of black tone offers its crumpled head in communion. The sky responds in acknowledgment. You weren't supposed to see this.

last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')
comparison between apple's finder icon and mine. apple's is the split blue and white smiley face, mine is two blue and white anime girls making out comparison between discord's icon and mine. mine is like a screaming cat on a blue/purple slimy background comparison between celsys's clip studio paint icon and mine. mine is similar but rotated with some comic styling and pink and blue highlights comparison between mozilla's firefox icon and mine. mine is similar but looks closer to the old firefox icon and brings back the little arm and gives the fox a cute little smiley face

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.
