Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was released on this day (Nov 28) in 1986. The film had originally been planned for release in mid-December. The studio believed this would allow it to maximize earnings because the film would be in theaters during the Christmas holiday.

On this day in 1981, #SoftCell released their debut studio album, "Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret".

The album's success was bolstered by the popularity of the cover version of #GloriaJones song "Tainted Love", which topped the charts worldwide and became the second best-selling British single of 1981.

We shouldn't be fighting about American pies, we need to unite against the common enemy: Paul Hollywood in the American Pies episode of GBBO.

It's from one of the early seasons and one of the great pleasures is seeing other Americans experience it and become enraged.

Need to check this out. I just have the old DVD version, but this is a fantastic movie no matter what.
Just watched the brand-new dub of Cagliostro.
It's friggin' fantastic. The movie's already a masterpiece, and this is definitely the best dub it's ever had.
The cast is just as perfect here as ever, and while I miss some of the jokes from the older dub... overall this version is practically perfect.
