Day One of filming. I went a little crazy and had the beach raked and cleaned. Sent out tide charts w photoshopped images of projected tideline at shooting call. A lot of these folks don't know who they're dealing with yet. They will.

Gladiator remains an all time banger movie. Still I wish I had not toured all of the standing sets in Malta (more than once now). The sword-and-sandals epic is so far removed from any film I've been a part of that I fully bought in until visiting the sausage factory

You're probably right, I'm easily annoyed. Wife's pal teaches 4th grade. Great job, noble and under appreciated work. Bitches 24/7 about how difficult her job is. Lady try landing a helicopter in Bangkok at rush hour while staging a motorcycle chase in the souk in Marrakesh

My work requires me to be incredibly high-functioning. May be an irresponsible dope irl at times but I can work on three continents simultaneously and orchestrate some amazing things. My assumption is that 90% of people are morons w no idea how easy their candy ass jobs are

Post-college I used to do 12 beers of Christmas with 11 buddies. Each guy brings a 12 pack and you drink one of each guys beers. Some asshole always brought 12 Fosters or worse 12 40's of Ballantine. I was usually the asshole who did that

Parkway and Domilise's versions are...fine. Nothing more. Domilise's especially is like Santarpio's in Boston, acclaimed more for an obscure location than anything. I'll take a good muffuletta or a fried oyster loaf from Casamentos over a poboy any day too
