Naïve and plain-spoken, Lanthirel (Cyaro to their friends) is only just coming into their own - both as a demigod of the goddess of night, and the ambassador to their Coven. These come with complicated challenges, something they do not need as they save the world again with their party. The result of a friendship between god and mortal, Cyaro was raised as the heir to the last remaining nomadic Coven under their strict adoptive mother. The eladrin is no natural leader and so struggled with the weight of their responsibilities. After a difficult breakup with a boy she met in the cities, Cyaro took time away from the Coven - only to find it being attacked by the forces of the Empire. Losing their father, the only person who believed in them, they left their struggling people behind in search of their birth mother. Throughout this journey she found a new group of friends and saved the world and countless people along the way. The songs that follow the group speak of halting a flood of the dead, slaying a titan of the sun, and defeating an angry archdryad and goddess of literal misery - though how accurate these ballads are is a whole other story. Currently Cyaro sits at an incredibly low point; a curse plagues her people, and she stands responsible for souring the party’s political reputation - something that is certain to come with devastating consequences… A proprietor of teas - both gossip and herbal - Imree hails from the deep and mysterious Underdark. Attending the Van Hellian Academy for the Occult as part of their ‘gap century’ they, alongside their (rooster) basilisk familiar, are honing their unique magic of Brewmancy. Imree comes from the noble House of Zau’Urden - an elite family working in the background of politics in the Underdark. Their relatives have a long relationship with the Hells, hence their infernal appearance. The witch takes pride in it - they are a perfect representation of the unique alliance their family holds. Venturing to the surface at the start of their ‘gap century’, Imree is getting used to making new friends and navigating the dynamics of a public school. Ignore the fact that their basilisk familiar is actually a rooster, or the fact they’ve never heard of the most influential family in the Underdark they’re just a little… sheltered. Imree excels at their own special brand of magic where they craft spells into different blends of tea. Whether you need some healing, or a confidence boost, Imree will have just the right blend. The definition of a gentle giant, Talisar has been thrust into a world of unspeakable horrors as he attempts to track down his lost wife and child. With everything he’s been through, will they even recognise him in the end? Coming from the deserts of the Wind Wastes, Talisar lived a peaceful life in a tiny village protected by a Hunter. It was in the next town over that he met his wife Buran - a refugee of the war between East and West Zemlya. In a period of peace, the two returned to Buran‘s home in the East where, in his wedding vows, Talisar swore to protect his new family. In too few years, the war resumed and conscription was called - sending Talisar to the frontline of a never ending conflict. After news reached him of his wife‘s town perishing in an air strike, he abandoned the military only to arrive at the house and be told Buran had left days before, with a child on her back. Desperate to see her and their new baby, Talisar escaped the country and began the search. Unfortunately this has been disrupted by three separate instances of kidnapping: one leaving him with the ability to change into animals and a terrifying monstrous creature of bone and bark, and the most recent throwing him into a death game. He now roams the continent with those he won the game with, helping them with their own deep problems, all the while still searching for Buran. Private Investigator Francis "Ezra" Beckett - the best in all of Silva Captus, no case too big, too small, or too unexplainable. [Currently relocated to Castle Gyllencrutz. Please direct all enquires to this new address.] Francis Beckett - or Ezra as he prefers to go by - grew up in a noble family slowly losing its money and power. Pursuing medical school to please his strict parents, as soon as he came of age he was married into an influential family as a last saving grace for the Beckett name - despite his opinions and preferences. Him and his wife Dolores made it work, however. They even began to raise a family, though his twin daughters were born through much more unconventional means… Leaving the life of a doctor behind, Ezra went into his real passion of investigation until tragedy struck the Harrington-Becketts. His wife and two daughters were lost to a vicious attack that also cost Ezra his leg. However, this traumatic event also opened his eyes to a world of supernatural Vaesen. He now runs an investigation firm/secret society intent on finding the monster that tore his family apart. This is hard enough on its own, but to make matters worse, Ezra‘s sworn enemy also happens to be the co-founder: a writer by the name Victor Theron.

On a full moon years ago he was overwhelmed by his curse, assumed his monstrous scarecrow form, and attacked her caravan. Everyone lived, but not unharmed.

Despite being a faun, his human father took him in when he was found alone and raised him as his own. He happened to be a general, so Cornelius was raised to be a soldier. Therefore he's quite stoic and serious, but he has his hidden silly side that surfaces in rare circumstances 🙂‍↕️

She works as a secret agent to combat paranormal threats. She takes her job very seriously and has her mind always on the mission or task ahead. Veliane can seem rather cold, due to this mindset. She ends up getting tasked to capture Aeneas, since he has been deemed one of such "threats"

He's a ghost hunting YouTuber who was in it for the laughs, until one day it turned out the ghosts are real and he ended up with his paranormal abilities which come with drawbacks. He's a smug, overconfident guy, who hides his negative emotions. Aeneas does his best though and is very sweet

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.
